The Youth Opportunity Series is a local group comprimised of pastors, program coordinators, school personnel, law enforcement personnel, various juvenile service agencies and concerned citizens.  They have been meeting monthly since November to address some serious juvenile issues in the area.

Some of the topics and goals of the group have been to continually discover and explore together all of the ministries/services which are available for youth in Vance County; to identify the needs of youth and families within the community and to establish and maintain a continuing dialogue among all of the religious ministries and public service offerings for youth and families.

The group is a vibrant committee that welcomes participation and input from any and all programs or ministries that are interested in helping to increase the positive social, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual opportunities for youth in out community.

All members of the community are invited to come and join the committee with this critical community-wide effort.
